‘NCIS’ SEASON 14 SPOILERS: COTE DE PABLO’S ZIVA DEAD OR ALIVE? TRENT KORT’S REIGN OF TERROR OVER?

“NCIS” Season 14 is perhaps all set to take on new villains and old characters in the future. Perhaps the upcoming season that is renewed, “NCIS” Season 14, might once again show Trent Kort (David Dayan Fisher) without Michael Weatherly’s Tony DiNozzo and Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David. The popular series on CBS network “NCIS” might be based on what comes next for these two characters Trent Kort and Ziva David.

In “NCIS” Season 13, Trent Kort character was shown without his left eye. He covered it either with a patch or with a glass eye. His deadly acts that proved him as a villain in the series came to a halt when he was tracked down. When Trent Kort was surrounded, he could do nothing although he tries a failed attempt to kill MI6 officer Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry).

Moreover, nothing is clearly revealed about Cote de Pablo’s character Ziva David and if she is really dead or not. Perhaps in the upcoming Season 14, Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David and character Trent Kort might return through flashbacks, although nothing is officially revealed yet.

In the final episode of “NCIS” Season 13, it was revealed that Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo have a daughter named Tali, who came out alive from the blast that took place.

According to Deadline, in an interview, showrunner Gary Galsberg revealed that “NCIS is a show and a franchise that’s known historically for leaving lots of things unanswered and leaving all doors opens.” He had further added that, “We revisit all kinds of things in all kinds of ways. We never say never and I’m not going to stray from that kind of approach.”

From this, it appears that the villain Trent Kort and Tali’s mother Ziva David might be seen in “NCIS” Season 14. Although nothing is officially revealed, it will be interesting to see how and what kind of a storyline will include these characters back in the “NCIS” plot. This might happen through flashbacks.

According to TV Line, as for a near-casualty of Trent Kort’s reign of terror, Glasberg plans to have Fornell’s recuperation play out in real time versus the usual TV quick fix.

It further reports that Galsberg said, “To actually see him have to work towards it, and the frustration of that, is exciting for us.” From this, it seems that Agent Fornell might play a role in Trent Kort’s storyline.

Meanwhile, there are chances that the two characters introduced in the “NCIS” Season 13 final two episodes — Sarah Clarke and Duane Henry — might return as series regular in “NCIS” Season 14.

The premiere date of “NCIS” Season 14 is yet to be revealed.
