[WATCH] ‘NCIS’ Sneak Peek: Is the Team Investigating a Suicide or Attempted Murder?

Does the team have a murder investigation on their hands in NCIS season 14 episode 3? That’s what Grace (guest star Laura San Giacomo) thinks. Is she right?

In “Privileged Information,” when the team investigates a marine sergeant’s tragic fall from a building, Grace Confalone, her doctor, confides in Gibbs and suggests they could be looking at murder. Plus, Torres looks for a place to live.

Bishop tells Quinn Rule 17: Never, ever interrupt Gibbs during an interrogation. (It’s actually Rule 22.) McGee does just that.

Is the team looking at a murder investigation? Well, according to Gibbs’ gut, it wasn’t a suicide. But how’s he going to react to a certain “Don’t tell Gibbs”?

Check out a sneak peek as the team talks real estate:

Torres is getting a taste of just how expensive it’s going to be for him to find a place, something Bishop can relate to. With his temporary quarters allowance up this month, Nick needs to find a place he can afford, and unfortunately, real estate here is nothing like his place in Buenos Aires. Gibbs welcomes him “back to reality” before informing the team they have a case. A Marine Sergeant fell from the roof of her apartment building, and she’s in critical condition at the hospital.

Watch a clip from this NCIS episode as Quinn meets Grace:

Just as Gibbs and Quinn are on their way out of the hospital, they run into Grace, who has been treating Sergeant Hill for the last month. Gibbs wants to know if she’s depressed, but even though Grace would love to help, she can’t give him any information without her patient’s permission. When Quinn asks how they know each other, Grace tells her she and Gibbs worked on a case together, with a “very tough patient.” All she can tell them about their case right now is that they should investigate it as an attempted murder.

See more of Gibbs and Fornell as roommates in episode 14×03:

When Gibbs arrives home, Fornell stops him from turning on the light because he’ll “ruin the mood.” “I’m just trying to express my appreciation for your hospitality and friendship,” his roommate explains. Gibbs would rather he stop wearing his clothes, but that’s what happens when Fornell doesn’t get around to doing laundry because the day didn’t turn out like he thought it would.

Fornell tries to ask him about his day — “Prying conversation is exactly why two of my marriages didn’t work,” Gibbs replies — but he already knows about his case after calling McGee to find out when Gibbs would be home. Then when Gibbs heads for the kitchen because his beer is warm, Fornell stops him with his cane. Anyone else pretty sure where this is going?

Are you looking forward to seeing more of Gibbs and Fornell as roommates? Are you happy to see Grace again?

NCIS season 14 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
